No one really knows what is going on in Lakerland right now but in what was a shock to some, Lakers out spoken forward Metta World Peace has been amnestied. World Peace was still a valuable offensive presence World Peace averaged a paltry 12 points and 5 rebounds per game last year while shooting 40 percent from the field and 34 percent from three-point range but apparently his salary of $7.7 million next year was more then what Jim Buss was willing to pay. The move will save the Lakers $21 million dollars.
