Today is the day many college football lovers have been waiting for. A old fashion clash of the titans. The current NCAA national champions against the reigning heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel. The number 6th ranked Aggies vs. the number one ranked Crimson Tide. There are so many stories entering today’s matchup with the offseason drama that has haunted or fueled Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel the Aggies and a recent yahoo story claiming that a former Alabama football player may have taken funds from a booster have just surfaced.
Despite all the hype surrounding the story and with all eyes watching this matchup today at 3:30 eastern time, I believe the man known as Johnny Football will use today as a chance to silence those who think his off field issues have affected his on field abilities. Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are a great football program but Johnny seems to have their number.
