The young guns out west, Jeff Hornacek’s Phoenix Suns are off to their best start in the last 4 years standing at (5-2) currently and a large part of the credit for the Suns’ hot start belongs to Philadelphia’s own Markieff Morris, the NBA’s current western conference player of the week.
Morris is having a career year so far this 2013-14 NBA season and the week of November 4-10 may prove that Morris’ is out to become a true star for the Phoenix Suns. The third year pro is shooting nearly 70% from the field averaging 23 points a game while grabbing 8 rebounds. Those are numbers no Suns has put up since Amare Stoudemire was wearing a Phoenix jersey.
Congratulations to Philly’s own Markieff Morris. Check out his stats for the week of November -10 via NBA.com and watch our exclusive HHS1987 interview with Markieff and his brother fellow Phoenix Suns forward Marcus Morris below.
