Tonight’s week 10 Thursday night football matchup features Robert Griffin and the (3-5) Washington Redskins facing Jared Allen and the (1-7) Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings season seems to be over with them not finding a way to get on track already ten weeks in and things don’t seem much different for the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are ranked 31st in defense this year and seemed to not be able to stop any offense so far this season so this could be a big night for the Adrian Peterson and the Vikings.
Despite RGIII making statements earlier in the week of the Redskins rallying together to make a strong playoff push, I just don’t see it happening. Alfred Morris has continued to be the anchor of the ground and pound running game and the Vikings defensive front four should be up to tonight’s challenge. I expect RG3 and Christian Ponder to get into a old fashion primetime shootout where the home team takes the edge.
Vikings 34 Redskins 23
