J. Jackson is warming it up with his new series #ThrowJack. While the world waits for the official debut project from Jackson, which is slated for a late 2013, Jackson is showing appreciation to his faithful followers by delivering bars over some of your favorite summer classics from back in the day. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month J. Jackson will drop a new #ThrowJack remix on his YouTube Channel SupportJackson. Be sure to check #ThrowJack.
The first installment for #ThrowJack is a tribute to his neighborhood on Detroit’s east side entitled 48205. On this track, Jackson takes us on a two minute tour around his neighborhood and he does so over the instrumental to Master P.’s classic Bout It. The No Limit Soldier’s classic is given a fresh update as Jackson describes where he’s from as a place that may be rough around the edges, but still easy to love. One could describe Jackson in the same way, as every new released track proves to present a sharper and more focused Jackson; while his fans wait for his first album, #ThrowJack is sure to provide them with enough heat to ease us right into fall.
