Influenced by his love of Japanese manga and anime, rising Toronto artist Rashid St. James releases “Yung Tetsuo (Berry Gordy)”, inspired by the Katsuhiro Otomo movie Akira.
In the song, which will appear on his debut project slated for a 2015 release, Rashid depicts a telling a tale of chaotic city nights that is owned by the youth. He and fellow Out. Of. Control producer 4:44 fka Dmndbk collaborate once again to create this ode to the dark Toronto nights that Rashid has given his poetic focus to.
