You can’t ban the snowman or at least get away with charging him with a crime he just didn’t commit. Back in August, Eric Johnson was killed backstage at Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa‘s concert in California due to a gun shot wound. The unfortunate series of events resulted in Jeezy and a few folks from his entourage spending four days in jail and posting $1 million bond.
Well, according to his latest Instagram post Jeezy the weapons charges filed against him this past summer have been dropped. Check out what the CTE head honcho had to say about the situation in-hindsight below!
I pray this had nothing to do with race but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence. Words cannot express how vindicated I feel with these charges being dismissed today. While my team and I always knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts, the rush to judgment by both the media and the police has been extremely disappointing. I’m relieved that the truth has ultimately prevailed and I would like to thank those who have always stood by me including my family and fans. #SeenItAll #Itsthaworld
