When Lil Durk was arrest last year for gun possession in Chicago, he was sentenced to 18 months probation and 50 hours community service after obviously pleading guilty, but vowed to not get into anymore touble.
According to the Chicago Tribute, it appears that the vow has been broken. The Signed To The Streets rapper was arrested yesterday (Nov. 5) after authorities entered the rapper’s home arround 5AM, while investigating a shooting. Officers claim Banks (Lil Durk) was standing next to a kitchen island where, a Glock .45 caliber handgun with 11 live rounds and a Springfield .45 caliber handgun with 13 bullets were in plain sight.
Durk responded saying:
I got those pipes (guns) ’cause (expletive) always be tryin’ to take my bands (money).
Because officers knew Durk was a felon, he was placed under arrest and was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. Though found not guilty in court today, he has been denied bail.
