Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins made a big statement on Sunday running out of the tunnel for introductions wearing a “Justice For Tamir Rice & John Crawford” and as a result, the Cleveland Police department has asked for an apology. Cleveland police union president Jeff Follme made statements requiring an apology from Hawkins but Hawkins decided to open up and explain his decision to wear the shirt and why he will not be apologizing to the Cleveland Police Department. Hawkins explained his experiences with Police officers and he explained the effect the deaths of Tamir Rice and John Crawford (another young man who was killed by Cleveland Police) have had on him and his family.
