The NFL has just issued their ruling about Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay’s guilty plea to driving while impaired. The NFL has suspended Jim Irsay for the first six games of the 2014 NFL season and he has been fined $500,000 for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Isray is the first NFL owner to be suspended since 1999. Jim Irsay’s suspension begins on September 3rd at 5pm and will end October 9th when the Colts face the Houston Texans.
While Jim Irsay is suspended, he can’t speak with the media, enter the Colts facilities, use social media in reference to the Colts or attend league meetings until October 9th. Irsay’s drivers license has been suspended for a year and Irsay will be required to take random drug test. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for all your NFL news.
