The state of Ohio is thrilled that Lebron James has returned home and they are all showing their happiness in different ways. Recently, Lebron signed a endorsement deal with the Ohio based insurance company “Progressive” and the two are set to kickoff a new campaign. Already known for their great rates and comical commercials with Flo, Lebron and Progressive have kicked off the “FloBron” campaign.
Jeff Charney, Progressive’s Chief Marketing Officer, recently spoke with SLAM Magaizine about the campaign strategy along with what we can expect from “FloBron” in the days to come and he had this to say:
“This is a very new way of running a campaign, for us and for the industry as a whole because we’re truly developing characters, not commercials,” Charney said this week. “We’re developing content, not trying to build awareness. It’s digital first and it’s open-ended.”
