As a Laker fan for over 20 years, this news just made my evening. Now former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni has resigned from his position. Mike D’Antoni has been loved as a head coach in L.A. but we all should remember that he never had his full starting roster for the past 2 years. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak spoke about D’Antoni resigning with this statement: “On behalf of the Lakers, we thank Mike for the work ethic, professionalism and positive attitude that he brought to the team every day. We wish him the best of luck.”
