Tonight’s Monday night football matchup has the (5-3) Indianapolis Colts facing the (3-4) New York Giants. Week 9 of the 2014 NFL season has been good so far and tonight doesn’t seem to be much different.
The Colts are looking to make a strong push to end their season on a high note and head to the postseason. Andrew Luck has looking great at times this season and Monday night could be a great stage to show the World just how good he is. The Giants and quarterback Eli Manning are finally adapting to their new offense and they have showed signs of life lately. The Eagles and Cowboys are running away with the division but if the Giants want to make a push at the postseason, tonight would be the night.
I expect the Colts to come out on fire tonight and to get into a old fashioned scoring war with the Giants. The Colts will run the ball early to get the play action going. Andrew Luck will toss 3 touchdown passes and pass for over 300 yards tonight. Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton will have a big night collecting over 90 receiving yards.
Eli Manning and the Giants will be looking to showcase their new west cost offense tonight. Look for Giants rookie running back Andre Williams will have his number called a few times tonight so I hope he is ready. Eli will pass for over 250 yards and 3 touchdowns including two to rookie Odell Beckham Jr. If the Giants want to win this game, Williams’ rushing attach will be the key.
Colts 24 Giants 27
