Tonight, NFL fans get a double dose of football. The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills were forced to move their scheduled Sunday afternoon meeting in western New York for a primetime match in the motor city. After a winter storm left over 10 feet of snow in western New York, the Bill and Jets will have their AFC East showdown tonight at Detroit’s Ford Field.
The Bills come into the game (5-5) and are looking to get going against a tough division foe. The Bills have one of the best rookie wide receivers and one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. If the Bills can get the ball to Sammy Watkins, the Bills could probably put up big numbers in the air and cause problems for that Jets secondary.
The New York Jets come into the game (2-8) not partially what fans in the big apple wanted from their team but a victory on Monday night could go a long way. Michael Vick will be under center for the Jets tonight and with the game being in a dome, Vick could be electric tonight. Look for the Jets to look to get the passing game going tonight and look for Vick to play big. Percy Harvin will have a big game on special teams and his play will be key to a Jets upset.
I expect tonights matchup to be a great game. Look for the Jets offense to control the game and to produce their best performance this season. The Bills will put up a fight but the struggle the Bills have faced getting out of the storm in Buffalo may be too much to overcome tonight.
