Tonight, week 8 of the 2014 NFL season comes to an end as the (2-5) Washington Redskins head to Jerry’s World to face the (6-1) Dallas Cowboys.
Washington enters tonight’s game with former Texas Longhorn quarterback Colt McCoy set to start under center. Despite signing speedy receiver Desean Jackson in the off season, Washington’s offense has yet to really get going. Yes, RGIII is injured however if you ask me, Washington still has enough fire power on offense to score with the best of them.
The surprise of the 2014 NFL season so far has been the play of the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas has started the season (6-1) and is looking to find a way to reach the postseason this year. Cowboys running back Demarco Murray is looking like a early season MVP candidate but will that all continue tonight?
I expect the Washington Redskins to shock the world tonight and beat the Cowboys. Look for Colt McCoy to return to Texas and play a strong game. McCoy and Jackson will connect for 2 touchdown passes. Alford Morris will rush over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns as well. Dallas will come to play tonight scoring 21 points but not enough to beat the skins tonight.
Redskins 31 Cowboys 21
