Following the Eagles and Redskins NFL Saturday Special, the (8-6) San Diego Chargers will head to San Francisco to face the (7-7) San Francisco 49ers. The Chargers need a big win to keep their slim playoff chances alive in the AFC. The 49ers are pretty much out of the postseason race and they could be looking toward nest season already. Rumors have surfaced that the 49ers head coach could be on the move after the season has left this locker in disarray. If San Diego wants to gain ground on a possible postseason berth, tonight might be that night.
Look for the Chargers to come out passing the ball. Phillip Rivers has played injured most of the season but he’ll have to over look that to get a win today. The 49ers offense hasn’t looking the same over the past few weeks but maybe this is the game when they return to form. Expect a low scoring game for this one.
