Dr. Dre has opened up in regards to his feelings about Total Slaughter. Dre thinks the event is important as well as battle rap as a whole. The series, being presented by Eminem, begins tonight and has already gained a huge buzz. Dre explains, “This is Hip Hop and this is where you can witness some of the best of the best.” He also spoke on the Budden/Hollow battle saying, “You don’t usually see an established emcee like Joe Budden get involved with a battle like this, especially with somebody as sick as Hollow Da Don.” Watch more below.
