The always entertaining Reality TV star turned R&B songstress, K. Michelle returned to The Breakfast Club yesterday with a plethora of topics to discuss. I’m warning you now, this is definitely one of those must see interviews people will be talking about for days.
As the interview kicks off Charlemagne The God, Angela Yee and the “Oscar” pouring a shot of Remy Martin VSOP which gave Michelle the perfect segue to announce her forthcoming Jack Daniels endorsement deal. After briefly celebrating the successful release of her Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart? via Atlantic Records by downing the popular Cognac brand she broke down the concept behind her timely “Drake Would Love Me” cut.
Fitting as Meek Mill just came home from serving a brief stint in jail for violating his probation, the hot pocket princess explains how the MMG rapper inspired her album title and confirmed once again her and the Dreamchasers general never had a physical relationship but just good friends.
The interview quickly heats up when Charlemagne The God cleverly transitions the conversation from 0-100 by bringing up the fact Lil’ Kim stated she didn’t know K personally, only met her once and therefore would never ask her to be the God Mother of her child during her latest visit to Power 105. Fortunately for the self-proclaimed Queen Bee Michelle didn’t spend to much time entertaining “Plastic Penny”.
Never one to fake or front, the former Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta cast member unashamedly discussed getting liposuction, a butt lift and constantly being criticized for showing off her body . Though it didn’t phase her, K initially received a large amount of negative feedback for posing nude on her album artwork.
With rumors recently floating around about Michelle and Idris Elba dating the elephant in the room was finally addressed. Michelle opened up about the couple’s year long relationship, most of the new project being about Elba, why she decided to end the relationship, how they met and his past occupation as a DJ/drug dealer.
Watch the trio’s (absent of DJ Envy) jam packed on camera conversation in it’s entirety above and K’s official visual for “Something About Last Night” after the break!
