Kevin Gates sat down with MTV to speak on YMCMB and more. Gates opened up on how Birdman influenced his entire career. Birdman also inspired him not to sign to YMCMB so he could build his brand on his own. Gates also added how he grinded after being released from prison and learning how a label really works.
