It’s no secret that one of Philly’s brightest stars, Meek Mill, is currently incarcerated under circumstances that are auspicious to say the least. So instead of being in the studio cranking out bangers or Meek is locked behind bars and no one is totally sure why. Not only is the studio missing his presence, but so is the streets: the community activism that has become a staple of Meek’s Dreamchasers movement is now on the back burner due to his imprisonment. While we wait for the DC frontrunner to be released, check out some of his most memorable community efforts including holding his first annual Dreamchasers Summit, Thanksgiving food drive and visit to a youth home to hand out toys and clothes for Christmas.
