It’s been a little over 2 years since Pro Era member Capital Steez passed away, and his good friend and collaborator Joey Bada$$ thought it was the perfect time to commemorate his fallen brethren. The B4.DA.$$ emcee took to Instagram yesterday to announce that he and his Pro Era team would be throwing a brand new festival in New York City this summer called Steez Day Festival. The concert will be held July 7th at the Central Park Summerstage. Besides performances from Bada$$ and Pro Era, attendees will also be able to catch sets from Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers, with more special guests to be announced soon. “We’re gonna have a great time in honor of the life of my brother Capital STEEZ,” Joey told his Instagram followers alongside the poster for the event, which you can peep below.
