Netflix will be bringing us a documentary about Nina Simone. For What Happened, Miss Simone?, Lauryn Hill paid tribute to Nina as part of the project. Ms. Hill recorded six sounds for the film and will serve as the album’s co-producer with Robert Glasper. Jazmine Sullivan, Usher, Mary J Blige, Common, Lisa Simone, and more all contributed to the film’s soundtrack which will be available on July 10. One of Lauryn’s musical contributions is a cover of Nina’s “Feeling Good.”
