When you’re from the Sunnyside aka the MoneySide on the Southside of Houston, Texas not everything is as slow paced and chopped and screwed like some would think. All cliches aside, life on the Sunnyside is tough and only the strongest make it out. Markus All Mighti is a testament to that fact and he tells you all about it on his new song “Ryda” that is pure energy. Hailing from the same Southside Houston streets as the legendary DJ Screw, Scarface, Lil Flip, Keke and others, Markus All Mighti is a storyteller for the people and a true student of the game.
“I’m trying to get love from people in the poverty stricken areas of the inner city that went through the same things that I’ve gone through. I’m their voice, I am the Southside of Houston, Texas. I’m from the neighborhood of DJ Screw where the tradition all started, but I don’t just have the traditional Houston sound. I really try to diversify my sound and focus on all the elements of Hip-Hop in my music, ” Markus All Mighti said.
Managed by Bone of Bonefied Entertainment who has spent years on the road with Bun B and UGK, Markus All Mighti is learning from one of the best in the game as far as finding a way to execute a vision and plan. To this day, Bone is an integral part of Bun B’s management team and has an important role in upholding the UGK legacy.
“I feel I’m the greatest artist nobody ever heard – I’m 100% confident that my music is of that caliber. The story, my music, my character, I feel like my music has it all. With me its the perfect situation linking up with Bone and his management company. With my music you got commercial, you got the trap, the real life story and the inspiration. I’m not scared to try any type of music but you can hear my sound throughout the music,” Markus All Mighti explained.
