As we near the release of Matt McGhee’s 5000 EP, he lets loose a super-smooth new track titled “Golden Lady.” It centers around a generally maternal theme, with allusions to love interests and McGhee’s future daughter as well, reminding them just how golden they are. It also features Knight, who laces it with a gently sung hook, rounding the whole thing out nicely.
