The start of the 2015-16 season is just around the corner and the Atlanta Hawks are looking like they are ready to pick up things where they left off. With NBA preseason action underway, tonight the Atlanta Hawks will host the San Antonio Spurs live from the Highlight Factory at 8pm.
Atlanta hosts the Spurs for the only meeting between the teams during the preseason. The clubs will match-up twice during the 2015-16 regular season – at San Antonio on 11/28 and at Philips Arena on 12/12. San Antonio swept the 2014-15 season series 2-0 and has won nine consecutive games over Atlanta overall. The Hawks’ most recent victory over the Spurs came on 3/21/10 (119-114 OT) at Philips Arena. The Spurs lead the all- time series 49-36, with the Hawks holding a 30-13 advantage at home.
