Since Young Thug pushed back the what was supposed to July 4th release of his brand new collaborative project, Slime Season with London On Da Track, Thugga treats us to five brand new tracks to hold us over. The first track, “Chicken,” is produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, Not to be confused with the Barter 6-cut produced by London On Da Track, this record has the Atlanta crooner gettin’ grimy over the base thumpin’, birdman chirpin’ instrumental.
The second offering, “Paradise”will appear on the forthcoming Slime Season mixtape. Produced by Allen Ritter, the record sure is radio ready.
The third track, “Calling Your Name” samples Ellie Goulding‘s “Hanging On” and is produced by Goose.
“Like” features Trae Tha Truth & SKEME. This would have to be my favorite release of the five. Thugga floats over the melodic instrumental and enlists Trae Tha Truth & SKEME to finish the job.
Last but not least, “First Up” is reportedly produced by Goose and will appear on Slime Season as well. The track seems to be unfinished, because we hear only 2/3 of the record before it goes into instrumental for the duration of the track. Stream below.
