The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club will collaborate with another Atlanta-based music superstar when the team hosts the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 30, today announcing plans for multi-platinum hip-hop heavyweight Jeezy to headline the next installment of the Sprite Concert Series.
“Being an Atlanta native, it’s only right to partner up with the Hawks for my new album ‘Church in These Streets,’” says Jeezy. “No team, no fans and no artist will go harder for their city than on Nov. 30 in Atlanta at Philips Arena.”
The “Put On” rapper, who today released a 16-track album, “Church in These Streets” through CTE/Def Jam Recordings, will perform at halftime of the Hawks’ contest against the Thunder before returning for an extended set following the game. “Church in These Streets,” Jeezy’s sixth solo offering, will be available for purchase in a merchandise bundle throughout the night at Hawks Shop in Philips Arena.
The bundle includes the album and the customer’s choice of one-of-two limited edition Hawks-and-Jeezy-themed shirts hand-picked by the artist to commemorate the album’s release and his game night appearance. Fans can purchase a long-sleeved shirt/album bundle beginning today onwww.hawksshop.com, and will receive a 20% discount on the bundle with the purchase of a game ticket via www.hawks.com/jeezy. A limited number of short-sleeved shirt/album bundles are currently available for purchase at a discounted rate through www.tilt.com. Once the limited supply of discounted bundles are purchased via Tilt, the item will be available in Hawks Shop and on the store’s website.

Since the opening night of the 2014-15 season, the Hawks have worked with artists to provide Atlanta fans a unique entertainment experience. Past artists who have performed before, during or after Hawks contests include T.I., Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Rich Homie Quan and Big Grams, featuring Big Boi and Phantogram.
Jeezy, who has sold over five million albums and 10 million singles world-wide since his debut album released in 2005, embarked on six-city intimate concert tour last night in New York City.
