Joe Budden has an opinion that some agree with and some don’t, but nonetheless he is vocal which is something you have to respect. For our latest sit-down interview, Joe Budden gives the HHS1987 audience an update on what he’s been up to in 2015. The Jersey rapper tells us all about what to expect from his forthcoming album “All Love Lost,” which only features Jadakiss and Marsha Ambrosius. Joe touches on the current climate of Hip-Hop and the fact that there has to be a balance in the genre, where you have a Rakim you still needed Kid and Play to have options. The discussion moves on to Budden describing the approach he went with submitting an album with no intention of having a radio-ready song, and the label still supporting it in the end. The lighter side of Joe comes out when he speaks about his podcast “I’ll Name This Podcast Later,” and giving his brutally honest opinions about other artists and generally not caring how they feel. You get his take on Drake & Future’s “What A Time To Be Alive” and him going from Love & Hip-Hop to Couples Therapy on VH1.
This interview was conducted by HHS1987’s E-Money, and shot by Rick Dange.
