Recently, HHS1987 caught up with R&B singer Sammie at Dazed Arts in Atlanta to discuss his career and much more. After finding fame at the age of 12 and being in the music business for 16 years, Sammie spoke on his growth as an artist, being a child star, changing his name to Leigh Bush and what the future will hold.
Sammie broke down how growing as a man has helped his music career. Having two singles currently out, Sammie discussed his records “Had A Few” and “Show Me” featuring the Ying Yang Twins and why he chose to use a smooth R&B approach for one and a club type turn up vibe for the other.
Before concluding our interview, Sammie also spoke on his plans for 2015. Sammie informed us that his new album ‘Blue Orchid’ is on the way. Delivering insight on the theme and meaning behind ‘Blue Orchid’, Sammie ensured us that this will be his best work to date and to stay on the look out as acting is in his near future.
The interview was conducted by HHS1987’s Eldorado. The interview was shot by Danny Digital.
