The Atlanta Hawks in my opinion made a huge mistake during the offseason last year when they decided to trade guard Lou Williams to the Toronto Raptors but it may have been the move Lou needed to take his game to the next level.
Last night as the Toronto Raptors faced the Atlanta Hawks in a sold out Highlight Factory, former Atlanta Hawk Lou Williams went off against his former team and it was bittersweet to witness. Hawks fans poured into Phillips Arena to see their Hawks start the last leg of the regular season but what they saw was former South Gwinnett standout star Lou Will prove why he is one of the best scorers in the NBA.
Lou exploded last night for 26 points going (7-10) from behind the arch with four steals in 24 minutes of action. Lou helped the Raptors control the pace and leave ATL with a (3-1) season series lead against the Hawks. If Lou continues to play like this, the NBA sixth man of the year award will be his.
