The Houston Rockets have been hurt by injuries all year long and the injury bug has hit the Rockets once again. After looking to delay surgery in hopes to return this season, Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley will undergo surgery on his left wrist and he will miss the reminder of the 2014-15 NBA Season.
Beverley not only was a defensive specialist for the Rockets, he also averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assist a night. With Beverley set to miss the playoff as well, the Rockets will look to their bench Nick Johnson, Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni to run the team from the point guard position. The Rockets are currently the second seed in the western conference with a record of (50-23) largely because of James Harden’s MVP style season but losing Beverley cause be big in the postseason.
