Since the departure of Stephen Colbert to resume where David Letterman left of at on “Late Night,” Larry Wilmore has taken Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show” to new heights.
The show’s platform is built upon discussions of very relevant topics circulating in society today, with a humorous spin to it, of course. Many artists guest appear on the show & share their intellect, allowing them to be seen as more than just “a rapper”.
Last night, Dipset’s leading man, Cam’Ron, stopped by the show to chop it up about something that has always been frowned upon in the Hip-Hop culture, snitching. Killa debated with comedian Chris Distefano and the mayor of Newark, NJ, Ras Baraka about how wrong things go within many communities because of the stereotypes that revolve around the word “snitch”.
Cam’Ron held his ground in his opinion on the matter and he made a hell of a lot of sense in his explaining. He keeps it very real in discussing that even if people do decide to snitch, it doesn’t necessarily mean that their efforts will bring justice to the situation & whom they’re testifying against.
Simply put, if you can help it at all, it’s best to probably just mind your busines..
