New Orleans native and RCA recording artist Dee-1 releases part II of his 3’s Up Documentary, produced/directed by BluPrint Media. The second part of the documentary focuses on the idea of being “righteous” and gives fans a glimpse into the life of Dee-1.
Through his “Mission Vision” movement, Dee encourages his audience to walk by three principles: to be Real, be Righteous, and be Relevant. In part II of the 3’s Up documentary, Dee-1 discusses his past experiences and how he maintains the being “Righteous” principle in the entertainment industry. From almost losing his life at his local basketball court, to a memorable experience in Africa as a teen, and even addressing how lust and greed have been his two main temptations in the industry that could steer him away from being righteous. Dee-1 closes this one out with a piece of his MLK speech where the Mayor of New Orleans called on Dee-1 to be the keynote speaker. Dee-1 ‘s transparency makes for a refreshing and inspiring piece that is sure to resonate with his loyal fans.
