Future broke down a few tracks pulled from DS2 in part 1 of his brief commentary series a few days ago. He explained to The Fader that he “had a very unorthodox way of recording this album”. He disected 3 of the introductory tracks, “Thought It Was A Drought”, “I Serve The Base”, & the only feature on the album with ya’ boy Drizzy, “Where Ya At”.
Today, he visits 4 more tracks pulled from his first hit album: “Groupies” “Lil Ones”, “Stick Talk” & “Freak Hoe”. Basically, the Atlanta-based rapper put it plain & simple, he has the voice to do these type of records whereas some artists in the game that probably would like to speak on these things things that don’t. He’s lived this life. He’s seen these things. This is what’s real, & this is what the people want to hear. I’m sure the #FutureHive can appreciate this.
