Jamie Foxx put himself back in every mainstream conversation with his opening to the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight with the National Anthem over this past weekend. That was the beginning to his upcoming non-stop movement.
This summer, we’ll be seeing a lot more of the singer slash actor as he’ll be releasing a new album in the upcoming weeks entitled Hollywood: A Story of Dozen Roses. That drop will be made May 18th, & prior to its release, Foxx stops by The Ellen show to talk a bit about it.
During his guest appearance, we also learned that Foxx is set to play the almighty Mike Tyson in his upcoming biopic. Of course we couldn’t let him walk away without speaking on his performance of the anthem during the fight. Scrutiny was at an all time high, but he himself knows that it wasn’t of his best.
After a bit of chit-chat & touching on previous hits with Kanye West, Foxx takes the stage to perform one of his new records, Baby’s In Love, pulled from his forthcoming album.
