It’s not the hip-hop pioneer’s birthday just yet, but they celebrated early last night at the Brooklyn Bowl. Legendary emcee, Slick Rick was joined on stage by NY native & another legend himself, Nas, to help him keep the crowd hyped as he rocked out like he used to. They sent out wild energy through their performance of one of Rick’s most timeless & classic hits, Children’s Story & you could tell that they were having just as good of a time & those standing before them.
Shoutout to ThatShitIsHotSun for capturing the moment for all of hip-hop to see. Slick Rick will officially celebrate his 50th born day January 14th, but we’re wishing him an early happy half a century!
