No, Lupe is not dumbing himself down and giving us a remix to Travi$ Scott & Young Thug’s new single.. although that would have turned some heads.
The politically charged Chicago rapper has decided to launch the campaign leading up to his forthcoming and final album, Drogas Light. His new offering, Pick Up The Phone is the first single pulled from the project, and gives us all a taste as to what type of sound he’s going for before he departs from the game.
This isn’t the official version of the track. Fans will have to visit his website pickup.lupefiasco.com and cough up that email for the CDQ version of the song.
Lupe’s 6th studio LP drop is nearing. Let the games of Lupe versus society begin.
