It appears NFL players across the league are beginning to stand up or sit down in support of San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick. Last night in the opening game of the 2016 NFL season, Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall took a knee, kneeling during the singing of America’s national anthem.
According to ESPN,
“I’m not against the military, police or America. I’m against social injustice,” Marshall said after the game, adding that he “felt it was the right thing to do” and that he will continue to kneel during the anthem this season.
