Whatever your opinion is on Brooklyn’s latest music sensation Desiigner, one thing for sure is he’s taking full advantage of the spotlight he’s been given. The teenage rapper signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music this year after his infectious hit “Panda” rocked the ‘net and he is now the holder of the #1 Rap Song in the United States. Not only did he beat out Ye’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ cuts “Famous” and “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1”, the rising star also passed Drake’s “Pop Style” and “Summer Sixteen.” It only took 7 weeks for the Menace-produced single to reached number one, and in an interview with Billboard, Desiigner talks working with ‘Ye and more:
“He ended up liking my vibe and he’s a great artist, you know. He’s a great, great artist. And we just respect another. I see him a lot right now, he’s my man and we doin’ a whole lot of things right now. Kanye, that’s my man.”
