Producer Detail is known for creating notable fan favorites these past three years including Beyonce‘s “Drunk In Love,” Wiz Khalifa‘s “We Dem Boyz,” and Drake‘s “305 To My City,” just to name a few.
Signed to the Young Money imprint, you would think him and Drake would have a pretty solid relationship; but according to TMZ, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Things went sour between the two back in 2014 after Detail declined the offer of serving as executive producer to Drake’s album back in 2014 because he didn’t want to feel limited to work with just one artist. Drake didn’t take lightly to that clearly because according to Detail, the Views rapper invited the producer to his Calabasa estate under the false pretense that they would be working together. Once Detail arrived at 2 AM, his face met with Drake’s bodyguard, Chubbs’ fist, which resulted in a broken jaw.
During the altercation, Chubbs [allegedly] said:
I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?
I wonder how much he’s suing for.
