Tonight, week 5 of the 2016 NFL season kicks off on the west coast as the (1-3) Arizona Cardinals head to California to face the (1-3) San Francisco 49ers.
As of lately, these Thursday night football games hadn’t been very exciting or high scoring but I have a feeling that will change tonight. Despite the Arizona Cardinals not having their starting quarterback Carson Palmer, look for the Cardinals to get the ball to their all-pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Although the Cardinals are (1-3), they could easily be (3-1). Look for the Cardinals offense to get rolling early.
For the 49ers, they run a high octane style of offense and I expect them to come out with that same game plan tonight. I expect the 49ers to run the ball early and often with running back Carlos Hyde. No need for much talk about theses 49ers though, as long as Gabbert is the starting QB, I don’t see them winning many games.
