Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season kicks off tonight on the first day of December in Minnesota as the (6-5) Minnesota Vikings host the (10-1) Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys have been the talk of the town up to this point in the 2016 NFL season with the play of their rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott but they will have a tough task tonight. The Cowboys have been dominate running the ball this season but they may meet their matchup going up against a tough Minnesota Vikings defense. The Vikings at one point in the season were looked to be Super Bowl contenders but their (6-5) current record has them fighting to just make the playoffs. This could be the Thursday night game many fans have been waiting all season to see.
Tonight I expect the Cowboys offense to hit the wall and for the first time this season look average. Look for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to pass for over 180 yards with 1 touchdown pass and 2 interceptions. Eze Elliott won’t be as effect on the ground as he has been in previous week. Elliott will rush for 1 touchdown and 90 yards. The Cowboys will have their backs against the wall early and they will need Dak Prescott to win the game with his arm tonight, I don’t see that happening.
The Minnesota Vikings need to win this game if they want to creep back into the 2016 NFL postseason race. Tonight I expect Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford to attack the Cowboys secondary and to pass for over 275 yards and three touchdown passes. The Vikings rushing attach hasn’t been the same since the injury to Adrian Peterson but tonight the Viks will get over 100 yards rushing total for their stable of running backs. Look for the Vikings defense to force three turnovers tonight and to shock the world. The Cowboys are favored by three points tonight, I like the home team to win this one.
