The Atlanta Hawks stand at (10-10) after a (121-85) lost to the (11-10) Detroit Pistons on Friday December 2nd at Philips Arena.
For the Hawks, their star forward Paul Millsap did not play due to a hip injury and his presence was missed. The Hawks trailed in the game by 37 points at one point. Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder finished the game with 17 points and 11 assist and forward Mike Muscala finished with 11 points on (5-7) shooting from the field. Kris Humphries scored 10 points in nearly 19 minutes of action and Tim Hardaway Jr. scoring 11 points on (5-14) shooting from the field.
For the Detroit Pistons, they seemed to be hot from the field all night. Former Georgia Bulldog star Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a big night scoring 23 points. Forward Tobias Harris also played big for the Pistons Friday night scoring 18 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Standout forward Marcus Morris finished with 12 points and 4 rebounds while Pistons all-star Andre Drummond finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
The Atlanta Hawks are back in action Saturday December 3rd in Toronto against the Raptors and they return to Philips Arena on Monday December 5th against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
