The Atlanta Hawks are now on top of the Eastern Conference after a (107-100) victory last night (11-16-16) at Philips Arena against the now (5-5) Milwaukee Bucks. Despite Dwight Howard and Thabo Sefolosha not playing in last night’s game, the Atlanta Hawks picked up their sixth straight win of the season headed into their upcoming matchup against the Hornets.
For the Atlanta Hawks, the leading scorer of the night was Paul Millsap who dropped 21 points on (8-11) shooting with 8 rebounds and 3 assist. Mike Muscala who started for the Hawks in place of Dwight Howard scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Point guard Dennis Schroder’s play is improving every night as he tossed 8 assist and 12 points. Rookie Taurean Prince was a spark off the bench scoring 8 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.
For the Milwaukee Bucks, the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to stuff the stats sheet scoring 26 points with 11 rebounds and 7 assist on (11-22) shooting. Former Duke star Jabari Parker was strong offensively as well scoring 23 points on (10-20) shooting. Tony Snell added 11 points for the Bucks and Mirza Teletovic scored 14 points.
