NBA star Joe Johnson is working on a possible buyout agreement with the Brooklyn Nets which could make Joe Johnson a major piece to a team looking to make a playoff run. The Brooklyn Nets are currently (15-42) and Joe Johnson is averaging nearly 12 points and 4 rebounds a night for the Nets. Johnson is 34 years old and is in the final year of his $123 million dollar six year deal. If a buyout is reached between the Nets and Joe Johnson, Johnson will have interest from the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavs, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors.
Sources tell ESPN several playoff teams (Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland, Houston, Miami, OKC and Toronto) are already in pursuit of Joe Johnson
