The first round of the 2016 NFL draft took place last night in Chicago and as expected the first two picks in the draft were quarterbacks. The Los Angeles Rams selected quarterback Jared Goff out of California and the Philadelphia Eagles selected quarterback Carson Wentz on of North Dakota State University.
Goff will most likely be the starting QB for the Los Angeles Rams when the Rams season kicks off in September but for Carson Wentz, the Eagles plan to groom him and give him a few years of learning the system before naming him the starter in the next year or so.
Round 2 of the 2016 NFL draft continue tonight at 7pm on ESPN. Stay tuned to HHS1987 and follow @eldorado2452 for all your sports news.
