Akon continues to make strides in his effort to provide electricity to Africa. Lighting Africa began a few years ago and now has backing from the major oil company, Shell. Shell and Akon have now launched #MakeTheFuture which will bring alternate energy solutions to different parts of the globe. To bring more awareness to #MakeTheFuture, Akon enlists DJ Hardwerk for “Tell Me We’re Ok.”
