On Wednesday December 7th, ESPN held media sessions for the 2016 Home Depot College Football award finalists at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. As many of the award finalists were preparing for a few days of celebrating their individual achievements for the 2016 College Football season, we caught up with Auburn K Daniel Carlston.

Daniel Carlston has been one of the Nation’s top kickers all year and he was nominated for the Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award for the Nation’s Outstanding Placekicker. During his media session, Daniel Carlston spoke on the honor it would be to win the Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award, possibility of entering the 2017 NFL draft, when he found his love for kicking and more.
