It looks like DJ Drama is making his radio rounds to boost his forthcoming project, Quality Street Music 2. This serves as the follow-up to his 2012 release, which hosted one of his biggest record, “My Moment,” featuring 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, & Jeremih. Part 2 to the album series will feature records coming from Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign, T.I., Young Jeezy, & many others.
When asked was Meek Mill to be featured on the project, Drama hesitated before saying no. Meek’s lawyers feel that because of his situation (AKA his beef with Drake), this isn’t the best time for Meek to do any collaborations of this nature. Respect.
Amidst talking about the new music Drama has on his radar as well as some of his current endeavors, he also spoke on the beef between Meek & Drake and shared his sentiments on the issue.
Drama is a proud member of the old school DJ’s who carry around crates full of their music, but he makes it clear that he does indeed enjoy the new generation of Hip-Hop. I mean, were cats back in the day rocking their Louis V book bags like the kid does today? I think not.
