It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Bronx rapper, Fred Tha Godson. Back from a long hiatus, the rapper taps on the services of Harlem’s own Dave East over a triumph record titled, “G5.” Produced by DJ Kool B, the record embodies the cockiness of New York rappers – whether it’s their swag, flow, or their crew – they’re up there just like a G5.
“G5” is set to appear on Fred Tha Godson’s upcoming mixtape Gordo, which will be dropping on Aug. 18. A video has already been shot and will be released soon.
